Don’t Go A Day Without Approaching Your Dream

Malala is a Pakistani teenager who, at the age of 15, suffered an attack from which she saved herself, and at 17 she won a  Nobel Prize .  She is a young woman who has the dream that all girls have access to education.

She is a girl with two lives, that of a teenager who likes to make jokes and play with her siblings and who worries about her studies; and that of an activist who met with presidents and ministers from around the world, even the UN. Malala  taught us an important lesson: we must not surrender when pursuing our dream.

When we are children, our future is much more like an endless horizon, like a plasticine that has just been taken out of the package. But as time goes by,  we bury our dreams under phrases like “This is life,”  and we forget how much we had dreamed of accomplishing, until our horizon narrows and we conform to what we have.

It’s time to put each dream down on paper, make a list of everything we want to do, however dreamy it may be (be an astronaut, be a singer, go around the world, go to your favorite singer’s concert) and  consciously choose the direction of our life.

reasons to have a dream

Having a dream doesn’t just mean having an idea of something we’d like to do, it’s much more than that. It means smelling this moment, thinking about what conversation we would have with the people around you, experiencing the feeling of seeing our dream come true, etc.

In other words,  having a dream  is creating a reality that we can see, touch, smell, feel  whenever we dream, even awake. Plan the clothes to wear, serving as cement for our hopes, as an outline for the more delicate steps, in which we need to become a tightrope walker to continue advancing.

Precisely because we think it ‘s good to be aware of a task that we often think is just a matter of inertia… Below we propose some reasons why it’s good to have dreams and that can serve as motivation to think for a moment about all of them Generally.

Who dreams can achieve more things

Dreaming means having a goal and a goal motivates us to move forward, to surpass ourselves and achieve something new daily.  A person who does not dream limits his reality by building walls, and this limitation will prevent him from seeing the future as an opportunity.

Big dreams are the patrimony of more capable people. We often realize that whoever fulfills a dream is simply because he tried,  and even if he failed a thousand times, he didn’t “fall off his horse”. He learned from each mistake and knew how to turn them into opportunities.

One of the most famous stories of perseverance is that of Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb. To arrive at the perfect filament for the lamp, he tried different types of fibers, until, in the year 1880, he was able to manufacture the first lamp that could stay on for up to 1500 hours. What can be highlighted in Edison’s work? Perseverance and willpower.

Never underestimate the importance of doing things in a fun way.

Fun is a key element in any dream.  A dream must be fun, it must make us smile, a passion to achieve it. We spent a lot of hours working, so why not make it fun?

A curious fact: there is the International Day for Fun at Work.  It is celebrated on April 1st and the purpose is to bring humor to companies to convey the idea that combining fun and work can make employees enjoy and fulfill their goals more effectively.

Choose an outcome that matters and not an easy goal. When we choose a big goal, we have to make sure that the investment we will have to make along the way is worth it.

Take time to analyze your dream. Even if it seems unreachable or too complicated, write your story. Give it full meaning so that it integrates into your life. Don’t talk about your dream as if it were a separate paragraph, but as an important part of the destiny you write daily.
