Fall In Love, Every Day, With Those Who Are Already By Your Side

This mania that we have to get sick of things and people leads us to great losses. It seems that we are always waiting for more, wanting something else, and that way we can’t enjoy what we already have, what we’ve already achieved. Nurturing dreams and being ambitious is positive, but just looking at what you want often blinds us to everything we already have.

In the midst of this frantic search for what we long for, unfortunately, we can end up distancing ourselves from people who are close to us and who helped us to achieve what we have and what we are today. Thus, we wore out a relationship that strengthened us, so much so that our eyes only seem to see ahead, making us blind to those who are already by our side, fighting and dreaming of us for a long time.

As we yearn for the new in our lives, sometimes we fail to value what is already part of our daily lives, neglecting the various riches that life has given us. That’s why so many relationships are no longer loving to become a mismatch of ideas, desires and goals. For this reason, we often let the greatest love of our lives slip through our fingers, in exchange for ephemeral infidelities empty of affection.

Why look for someone out there when there is already someone who loves us and dedicates part of his life to ours? Why think that all the love that once united two loving hearts dies overnight, with no possibility of renewal? Why stop smiling at the person sleeping next to us, stealing furtive kisses, touching their hands, asking them how they feel, sending them passionate messages and declaring our love and admiration?

Feelings may seem dormant, given the heavy workload and worries that pile up in our lives, but if there’s ever been sincere love, there’s probably still a spark of it that can be rekindled. We need to be grateful to the person who has been by our side for a while, because everything we have obtained and built is due to him as well. Grateful and willing to rediscover within us the feelings that seemed lost, because probably love is among them, waiting for strength and motivation on our part.

Love ends, yes, but it is not easy for something as poignant and magical, as true love is, to cool down completely. We cannot let time turn our desires into a grave, especially in relation to someone who entered our history and made it better and more complete. It is necessary to wake up willing to feed love, every day, anytime, wherever you are. We must remember that we are together with someone who at least was once the love of our lives, and who very likely always will be.

Let us cultivate the feelings that united us with our beloved, dedicating a significant part of our attention, our gaze, our life to him. If we calm our steps and do not allow the coldness of the outside world to enter our senses, we will be ready to love again and again those who have always been there close together, in moments of joy and suffering, fighting for us and believing in our dreams.

Love has tremendous strength and an inexhaustible capacity to reinvent itself

It gives new meaning to our life, making it always more enjoyable to live with people who truly love us. Before we give up, therefore, it is necessary that we seek to fall in love and re-in love with the complicit eyes that will search for ours every day, until the end of our lives.
