Smile, It Confuses People

Smile, It Confuses People

The writer Fyodor Dostoevsky states in his book “The Teenager” that if we want to know someone’s true soul, we should pay attention to their laughter. A smile, like hands and feet, are the most revealing traits of a person.

One day someone can laugh and show their soul in a second. Laughter can be contagious, natural, true, or simply a lie. There are people who laugh without knowing why, either because a spontaneous emotion arises or, on the contrary, because there is a need to please with an answer what others express.

On an “evolutionarily lower” scale in terms of emotional openness, we find the smile. Not too big, not too flashy. Certainly more austere in intensity and more frequent, the smile is the personal and psychological label that comes from the factory.

It’s tremendously powerful at times. Prove. Smile and confuse people. They can be grateful to see a smile on your face. That, at the end of the day, your smile leads to laughter and laughter as irresistible as a child’s.

The smile, the laughter and our emotional ally

Sometimes, even if we’re broken inside and it takes a few days without showing it, it would be convenient to start to smile, not for the absurd imposition of being happy if you’re not, but to provide the opportunity to challenge what you feel, doing what you need to start to recover.

It’s not about fooling yourself, it’s about doing yourself a favor. Break the patterns and dictates that impose your emotions and feelings of disillusionment, you shouldn’t be loyal to them if it means feeling worse and worse.

Sketch a smile on your face to show yourself that you can be stronger than temporary sadness: try the challenge of smiling for just a moment and showing it to others even if it takes days without wanting to. Challenge your desires with your facts.

Smile, break the patterns you so strongly set yourself

Sometimes we believe that being true to ourselves is literally acting the way we feel. This does not exactly correspond to reality and is negative for our lives and those around us. Being true to your principles and values is different from being a slave to your humor.

We act following the orders of our mind. “Since I feel bad, I allow myself the luxury of being in a bad mood. I can’t do anything. The others will have to put up with it, because if I’m in a bad mood, sad or stressed, that’s how it works”.

By following these guidelines, you are actually no longer free, you are a slave to what you think you need to do without remedy, and besides, you enter a dead end street. How to get out? Very easy, smile and confuse others. Smile and look in the mirror, confuse yourself sometimes.

It is a contradiction that bears good results in the long run. Break the monotony of your face and challenge your mood. Demonstrate that “standing up on the left foot” does not force you to limp all day. Show your inner world that reality can sometimes challenge you, with profit for you and others around you.

Smile, confuse people who are used to seeing you with few words and no mood. Smile, confuse yourself and fall prey to this contradiction, like a game or an exciting puzzle. Smile even if you feel ashamed of your imperfect teeth, your sad mood, or your lack of disposition.

Smile because no one knows the power of your smile until you use it in your daily life. Do the world a favor, so used to getting the gall that you feel aroused to feel the honey on your lips. Smile without realizing the power it unleashes: you will find yourself engulfed in some laughter. Joy is spontaneous, but the smile is the stimulus that can trigger it in you and in others.
